Today is day 90 of my one year journey to be on The New York Times Best Seller's List. 30 days, times three. It has been a wonderful, bumpy, roller coaster, fun filled, busy, and rewarding trip.
At the beginning of my trip, I sent copies of my book, "The Split Pea Soup Caper" to Oprah, Ellen, Rachel and Tyler. Along with the children's book, I sent suggestions and ideas on how to incorporate "The Split Pea Soup Caper" into their shows, books and films. Yes, I am still waiting on that phone call or letter, but hey, I am not giving up, good things come to those who wait.
But, in the meantime, this evening I was able to deliver my books and CD's to the gift shop for Christmas sales. I am working on my Pea Plan for the year 2010. I have a list of shows, book signings, libraries, and school systems to contact with my book. Book two is ready but, I am working on this goal, this trip for this book.
