TGIF yesterday bloggers!
Can you beleive that my children's book "The Split Pea Soup Caper" is now available in 3D! Glasses are even included! That is soooooooooo exciting. Now if I can just get my website up and going. You must remember that I am not too techincally inclined. I think I just need to have my 12 year old take over the techinical part of the book promotions. She is much more knowledgeable of today's technology than I am.
You have to rememeber am old and many years ago when I was dancing to Prince's "1999" I thought that time would never come. We have come so far in this world and there is so much more out there.
Anyway back to the 3D thing. I am envisioning the peas being thrown at you while looking on the big screen when the movie is made of my book. I see split pea soup being thrown at the viewers and dripping off their shoulders and heads. This is fun. Hopeflly though, they will not air in the smell of split pea soup while watching a 3D movie, or have a scratch and sniff patch on the book. This is so exciting, I must contain myself. All of these ideas are circling in my head, racing, like Ms Pac Man racing from one of those whatchamacallits!
That was yesterday, today the show went extremly well. I met some fellow authors at the show. Made a lot of contacts and some new friends. We plan on meeting the beginning of the new year and share our maketing ideas of our books. I gave out all of my Christmas candy and I am done for the year in the craft shows. One of my customers today owns a cute antique consignment shop, she made me a deal I could not refuse, So, this coming Monday, I will be taking the last of my inventory to her store for the Christmas shoppers. Now, I can order some of my books in 3D! Can you hear me stretching my voice in a deep tone? This now has me thinking as to whom I want to play the parts of my book in my upcoming movie in 3D!!!!
Blessings to you today bloggers!
