How Much is that Cookbook? Day 94 of my journey.

It's close to snowing here bloggers.

You have to remember about me being obsessed with the color, split pea green, due to my children's book, I have also become obsessed with Julia Child. I found this awesome second hand bookstore that I plan on visiting this week in search of a bio of Julia Child.

Since I just finished the book, Julie/Julia and watched the movie for the third time, I have started to calculate in my head how much did those 524 recipes that Julie Powell prepared in the one year time cost??? Well, I have not summed it up, I do not have a calculator in my head, I need an actual one. Better yet, I would need an Excel spreadsheet.

Think about it. Well maybe not, but that could be some one's project, go through Mastering the Art of French Cooking and calculate the cost of preparing the wonderful entree's, appetizers, soups, breads and deserts. Yes, that would be a chore. It would be interesting to research the cost of kidneys or beef marrow. It's interesting and makes me wonder.

This evening, I am curled up by the fire place with my piro minded fire place blazing and listening to Mother Nature blowing the trees. I designed a new business card for my new author friend that I met at a show a few weeks ago. Remember from the other blog, she and I are bartering, I get her cards and she grooms my dog. I like these barters.

I must go now to my next adventure of wrapping Christmas presents, plus I need to remember to get one of my book CD's to take to work tomorrow. One of my co-worker's requested the CD to send to her mother in Washington for Christmas. I am spreading around.

Stay warm bloggers.
