Tis the season bloggers.
You are either excited about the Christmas season, shopping, lights, food, family? Or, you could be the bah humbug person and stay in as a hermit, telling yourself how crazy people are? Like the great song from Billy Carrington, "God Is GREAT, Beer is good and people are CRAZY!"
Me? I'm coming out of my hermit stage. Don't get me wrong, I like my hermit stage, like tonight after work, finishing the daily chores, there is nothing like setting on the couch in front of a blazing fire and blogging.
During the Christmas season, I do a lot of shopping on my lunch break or leave work early to beat the after five shoppers. I like to try to get outside chores done before I come home. When I'm home, that's what I want to be, home, with my family, giving them the attention. Of course, they can help me wrap all the presents.
I met a wonderful fellow author this last weekend. She is also a groomer. We have been talking and we are going to barter. The younger bloggers may be wondering what bartering is, well, we are bartering, me designing her business cards and ordering them in return, she will be grooming one of my babies. Bartering, trading, that beats cash (sometimes.)
My inventory is nearly gone of my book "The Split Pea Soup Caper." It's time to re-order. But, I think I am going to wait until the first of the year. That is just my inventory, anyone can buy on demand. Buying on demand, kind of like buying for Christmas.
Stay warm bloggers,
Carly Cartmill
